Study on Somali Regional Consumer Commodity Preferences

Africa USAID/Ethiopia 2019 2020

DevTech is conducting the Study on Somali Regional Consumer Commodity Preferences, a study of food assistance commodity preferences in the Somali region of Ethiopia. This is the first study of its kind for USAID, the complexity of which is compounded by additional objectives to ascertain the willingness of local food processors to produce food stuffs for food insecure households and to assess the political economy of food assistance in the region. In response DevTech identified leading subject matters experts at two U.S. universities to advise DevTech and its local team on the research methodology and data analysis.
