In a remarkable display of dedication and transparency, the Venezuelan opposition team led by Edmundo González Urrutia, Maria Corina Machado, and the Unitary Political Platform (MUD) have successfully collected the data that proves the truth of the recent Venezuelan elections. The opposition team have confirmed the collection and digitization of the electoral records (actas) for 73.20% of the votes, which is a critical factor for illuminating the genuine will of the Venezuelan people.

The Role of Actas in Venezuelan Elections

In Venezuelan elections, actas are the official records or certificates that document the results from each polling station. These records are essential for ensuring the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

The opposition has managed to overcome a great deal of obstacles to collect, verify, digitize these actas, which have been published to allow for public scrutiny and validation on a web portal.  This portal will allow every Venezuelan to verify the results by entering their identification details, thereby confirming the authenticity of their vote and the overall results.

The Clear Victory

As of the latest tally, 73.20% of the votes have been accounted for with Edmundo González Urrutia receiving 6,275,182 votes compared to just 2,259,256 votes for Nicolas Maduro. This significant margin unequivocally demonstrates the overwhelming support for the opposition candidate. In fact, according to the opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, even if the National Electoral Council (CNE) were to attribute the remaining votes entirely to Maduro, it would not be sufficient to alter the result. The difference in votes is simply too large and it spans across all states, social strata, and sectors of Venezuela, underscoring the widespread and decisive nature of the support the opposition have received.

Conclusion

The overwhelming victory of the opposition has led the Venezuelan people to forcefully but pacifically demand respect to their decision. The dedication and hard work of the opposition team have paid off, resulting in a clear and verifiable victory. The Maduro regime is getting isolated internationally, but more importantly locally, as all democratic sectors in the country are demanding the recognition of the true results. DevTech Systems congratulates the Venezuelan people for their commitment to the highest democratic values and wishes for a peaceful transition of power in Venezuela.
